About me and the Blog

 My name is Tommy Lovett but my usernames are usually AiresTheFool or Technicalgerm depending on the platform. Am a bit of a loner/introvert who really prefers my alone time. That's not to say I hate socializing as I do like to post on sites like Reddit sometimes. 

My main hobbies are gaming both in video games and TTRPG games. I can also draw decently enough to make results am proud of but struggle to get myself enough discipline to commit to drawing everyday. I also like Music a lot and enjoy mainly Video Game OSTs, Anime/JPop and Kamen Rider Music. I used to go for local files over streaming but I got tired of downloading stuff and simply got spotify premium to make life easier. 

I also play TTRPGs as said before but when am not playing in a group game I do sometimes use tools like Mythic to play RPGs solo. my favorite TTRPG systems are Savage Worlds and Fate which cover just about any thing I could want out of a TTRPG game. I like solo RPGs because I can explore my own characters and worlds though I often try and make a dream game where I can have Kingdom Hearts style series crossovers. maybe that dream game can happen here.

As for my personally I prefer peace above all else in life. I struggle with Psychosis (never got it confirmed but am pretty sure I got schizophrenia) which thankfully only appears as a voice and not visually there. I used to be scared of this voice thinking it was a demon but eventually science proved it was a fake and thus I had nothing to worry about. Still annoys me to this day though. Now am on some meds which are doing pretty well considering how bad this Psychosis got at times but even then I sometimes still have episodes of arguing with the voice with no name. (It refuses to name itself so I just insult it instead of giving it a name)

 I really like creative projects, I like world-building for TTRPGs, making OCs and character designs and even once played around with music software for a bit to make my own music. not great or anything but I had one song I was proud of by the time I stopped. I even used to do game dev stuff but I've taken a break from that project. Maybe I'll try again for this blog.

And that is about all I can think of sharing about me, am just a lunatic seeking a fun and cozy life. I try not to make enemies or cause trouble but enjoy projects to distract myself from boredom from time to time.

But what about this blog? Well this blog is pretty much just a dump for anything I feel like sharing with the internet. so expect it to be a melting pot of ideas both polished and unfinished. perhaps when I get a better idea of what I want out of the blog I'll update this about me page but I highly doubt I'll remember that. The First TTRPG post on the blog!

 Hello again, this is Tommy. I just recently got a copy of the TTRPG Ironsworn:Starforged.  It's a paid overhaul/Sci-fi reskin of the free solo RPG Ironsworn. I figured while I prep the game for play I go over some of the ideas I have for TTRPGs on this blog, plus it's still here so I should get into the habit of updating anyways. Anyways I took a break from the blog after the last time I played Sims 3, tried out Sims 4 base game to see if I would like it better, still unsure about that game but that's not the point. I have lots of ideas for projects and hobbies I just don't have a lot of focus or motivation to finish them usually, a bad habit I still struggle with to this day.  Back on topic I want to try doing some TTRPG stuff on this blog, similar to what I used to do on the old Imperfect Game blog. Iron Gears - a Mecha Ironsworn Campaign Ep.0 - The World Truths

 Hi, Tommy again! I've decided to make my first Ironsworn Starforged Campaign a Mecha themed one, I had played quite alot of Dynasty Warriors Gundam in the past and Gurren Lagann is still my favorite anime so I made this game a Mecha game. It's also taking some traits from the video game Rimworld, namely my modded playthroughs of that game. The thing am serious about changing in this game are as follows... NO CHAT GPT ALLOWED ANYMORE!  Why you ask? simple, I got lazy and would rely too heavily on it. plus I think it reflects poorly on myself as a creative to use it. I have to make things on my own and put in the work to make something now. That's not to condemn people who do use it though, like any other tool AI has it's place, it's just am bad at self control and would just make the AI do the work for me too often to make something good. plus AI is kinda bad at making original stuff. Sims Stuff 1# - A short session with the Grassroots Yokai from Touhou

 Hi, been a few days but am still doing well. Been working on the future webcomic I plan to make, still early and am not sure if it will happen yet but am gonna try for it anyways. I've still been playing the Sims 3 recently. I've made dozens of sims based on existing series like Touhou Project, Sonic, even my own OCs to an extent. I've been trying to avoid what I would call my "Model Train syndrome" where I spend hours prepping a world with custom households and lots. It's great when it works don't get me wrong but I hardly get to play the actual game until a week later. plus I've done Sims 3 this way for quite too long to continue.
