Sims Stuff 1# - A short session with the Grassroots Yokai from Touhou

 Hi, been a few days but am still doing well. Been working on the future webcomic I plan to make, still early and am not sure if it will happen yet but am gonna try for it anyways.

I've still been playing the Sims 3 recently. I've made dozens of sims based on existing series like Touhou Project, Sonic, even my own OCs to an extent. I've been trying to avoid what I would call my "Model Train syndrome" where I spend hours prepping a world with custom households and lots. It's great when it works don't get me wrong but I hardly get to play the actual game until a week later. plus I've done Sims 3 this way for quite too long to continue.

So I've started playing a throwaway save file in Sunset Valley with my favorite Touhou characters. The grassroots trio from Double Dealing Character. These three are my favorite characters in Touhou because they got the kind of Monster girl theme going for them. Kagerou is a werewolf, Wakasagihime is the mermaid and Sekibanki is a dullahan or rokurokubi depending on what I feel like calling her that day.

Now in canon they are just friends but for the Sims version I made Kagerou and Hime are a couple and Sekibanki is their daughter. why? because I like them like that. though the exact origins of this design actually came from a DeviantArt Sims 3 modder who actually made lore accurate custom content for those three. Seki was the teen and Kagerou and Hime are the young adults so to avoid needing to add an extra bedroom (and of course my own taste for Yuri couples) I made them a lesbian family.

 But anyways I've played a short bit of Sunset Valley in a starter house with this family. Not intent on making this a serious save, just a way to chill out a bit. Not much has happened, though Seki was abducted by aliens and tried to throw a party while her parents were gone only to be somehow disappointing. Honestly I think that party was the worst party I ever threw in the Sims 3. But yeah we live and learn I suppose.

As for right now am trying to look for a good custom world to play on, thinking tropical as I finally got the Island Paradise DLC a while back. I've finally got all 11 major DLC packs for this game and I've sadly been neglecting those new features.

Well I guess all that is left to do is to show off my screenshots of that quick save. just note that despite there being existing custom content for these three characters I haven't used them in a while. because I got tired of having a slot taken for essentially only one character. I prefer to use vanilla friendly CC now. I do still have some of those Touhou CCs backed up on my google drive for safe keeping though, never know when those links will die.
